GRADING

Our services include field surveying, clearing and mass grading, excavation and placement of base material, wetlands remediation, installations of base underground utilities, construction of intra-site access new ponds, dams, and storm water systems; preparing sites for new facilities or expansions; and creating new rail lines and access roads. we are also a # 1 leader in pond building across the southeast building many types of ponds.
INDUSTRIAL

Alabama Grading & Timber Resources understands that experience and safety are two keys to performing a successful project. Our team has completed these projects with a strict attention to detail and a focus on safety. Alabama Grading can team up with current operations or we can build a site from the initial start-up phase. Our experience working with industrial settings helps to provide cost saving initiatives and ideas that we have implemented on the past.
PIPELINE & PIPE WORK

We offer pipe laying of many types: water, sewer, gas, storm, steel and polly. In addition, we lay power lines underground.
RESIDENTIAL

Alabama Grading provides lots to a developer in a time frame that allows the developer to begin building as early as possible, affording a maximum return on their investment. Our project management staff works with developers and engineers to make sure all of the available land and the developer's plan is carried out to perfection. Alabama Grading has the resources to tackle and size residential development. We have a staff of project managers, site superintendents and operators that can quickly mobilize in order to meet or beat the most demanding schedules.
MINING

Alabama Grading has experience with overburden removal, quarry development and infrastructure work. We own large fleet of heavy equipment needed to preform these tasks in a safe and efficient manner. We operate our jobs so as not to be disruptive so the ongoing quarry operations can continue uninterrupted.
CLEARING

Alabama Grading utilize new and used model equipment to do right of way clearing mowing, mulching and tree trimming. Our fleet includes: track feller bunchers, skidders, forwarders, log loaders, track chipper, track horizontal grinders, track mulchers & mowers, excavators with hydraulic thumbs, tree trimmers, trucks, lowboys, flatbeds, chip vans, log trailers etc. Alabama Grading has extensive experience working under powerlines, flatlands, wetlands, and mountains. We work all over the US and no projects is too big or small. Our superintendents work closely with our customer's field operators to ensure a SAFE and QUALITY job.
MATS

Alabama Grading offerings include access to an on demand mat inventory that is geographically focused to accommodate customers from locations all across North America. Whether mats are needed for a day project or a large volume of mats of requested to purchase for a long term, Alabama Grading offer options to buy, sell, and rent both used and new mats as well as emTek engineered hardwood mats. Alabama Grading's manufacturing capabilities include building hardwood timber mats which include 6" laminated 3 ply mats as well as 8", 10" and 12" thick mats with lengths up to 40'. We give customers the option to pay for mats in use, leaving the guesswork out of figuring out how many mats might be needed for purchase.
MAT LAYDOWN & PICKUP SERVICES

Alabama Grading and its project teams understand mat lay down, pick up and intermediate mat relocation and spotting. Since we have a division that is focused solely on the matting industry, our project teams and equipment only preforms these services. This exclusive commitment allows Alabama Grading to be safer, faster, and less expensive than competitors who are without the depth of experience and specialized equipment for the fast and efficient handling of mats on a project. Our record of safety and experience has allowed project managers to have never incurred a lost time accident incident in our project safety record.
SAFETY

Alabama Grading strives to be the safest provider on the industry by utilizing the most technologically advanced access products available today as well as providing each employee with OSHA /MSHA training and Safety classes. Our team also is required to complete refresher courses on an annual basis to keep up with the industries newest safety protocol.
WETLAND ACCESS

Alabama Grading only uses low impact tracked equipment on wetlands, and never enters or impacts any environmentally sensitive jobsites. Alabama Grading is specifically designed and outfitted with the latest mat handling attachments for the mats installation and recovery phases. This specifically designed equipment fleet offers safe, fast, and efficient installation by specially trained and certified project access crews of our own to ensure the project is completed on time and within all design and safety standards.
BRIDGING

Alabama Grading can provide clear span bridging up to 70' in length. Engineered and designed for specific loads and adapted to onsite access issues, we can provide safe and efficient access in areas where products are now allowed to come into contact with the crossing site. Using next generation laminate technology, bridge members are designed and engineered with safety, stability and environmental sensitivity in mind. Alabama Grading offers efficient ingress and egress plans to ensure that protected waterways or bodies of water do not receive any adverse impact with sediment, material or equipment.
